Government Funding

Early Years Funding is government support designed to help families access high quality early education before their child begins school. The funding provides a set number of funded childcare hours each week, helping to reduce the cost of nursery provision for parents.

It also enables children to benefit from rich play based learning experiences that support their social, emotional and communication development during these crucial early years, laying strong foundations for future learning.

As part of our Early Years provision at Benedict House, we are able to offer up to 30 hours of funded early education for families who meet the eligibility criteria, until the term after your child turns five. This support can make childcare more affordable while ensuring children receive an individualised and nurturing educational experience that reflects their needs and interests.
