Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care and Wellbeing at Benedict House

At Benedict House Preparatory School, pastoral care and wellbeing sit at the heart of our commitment to nurturing the whole child. Our dedicated Wellbeing Hub provides a calm and supportive space where pupils are encouraged to explore their feelings and develop important social and emotional skills through play, creative activities and team building opportunities.

This provision is supported by our committed Wellbeing Team, who work with pupils in a warm, positive and nurturing manner to ensure every child feels listened to, valued and supported. Pastoral care is led by our two Assistant Heads for Pastoral Care, Mrs Tedder and Mrs Hollis, who oversee both the strategic and day to day pastoral support across the school. Together, these elements form a cohesive and compassionate pastoral system that promotes confidence, resilience and emotional wellbeing, enabling all pupils to feel safe, supported and ready to learn.
